Important Camping Information

ATV’s and other Transportation: No off-roading, all 4 wheelers, golf carts etc. should be used for transportation only, no speeding. No dirt bikes or mini bikes.

Bathrooms: There is only one small bathhouse in the RV area so please use your own bathrooms if you have them in your camper.  Showers are located in the auditorium and Pool House. Handicapped accessible bathrooms are only in the auditorium and lodge.

Bicycles: No bicycles should be used after dark unless they have a light. Please park your bicycles away from entrée doors.

Cabins & Lodge Rooms: If you reserved a room your name should be posted on your room door. The lodge rooms are located upstairs in the lodge.

Children: Parents should know where their children are at all times, and children should tell their parents where they will be at all times. Area specific rules are posted at the Pool, Lodge and Lake. Please read and obey signs posted in these areas.

Cleaning: We will be responsible for cleaning and upkeep of the entire camp while we are here, so please try to assist in keeping the camp clean at all times.

Conflict:

We are so happy to be keeping the feast with you.  As always within the Hebrew roots walk, any time you have a large number of people together, you also have differing opinions.  We encourage discussion and we hope that all views are regarded with respect.  Love is our most important law when interacting with one another.

We ask that you employ Matthew 18:15-18 if you are offended by someone. You must go to them first before bringing your concern to anyone in leadership. If step two is required you should be prepared to go back to the person that has offended you with a witness and someone who is in leadership. If you do need to confront someone, always do it with a loving, humble spirit.

Dangers: This is Rural Oklahoma. For all those that are not used to living in the woods, it is important to understand… We have poisonous snakes, scorpions, mountain lions, skunks, and other wild animals. It is never a responsible or intelligent idea to wander around by yourself or let your young children do so. Please keep your tent zipped and take precautions to protect yourself.

Dogs: Please see Dog Policy located under the About us tab.

Firewood/Campfires: You are welcome to collect your own firewood from what is already dead and fallen. You are also welcome to use the firewood that is stacked behind the auditorium if you leave a donation for firewood. There are no picnic tables or fire rings, though you are welcome to build your own campfire ring with rocks. DO NOT CUT ANY TREES DOWN FOR FIREWOOD OR SUKKAHS!

Group Fire Ring: The group fire ring is located by the lodge.  This area is great for those who want to stay up late and not have to worry about making noise. You are welcome to use this area at unscheduled times.

Ice: Not Available at camp. The closest location to get Ice will be Wewoka.

Laundry Facility: Located at the end of the pool house.  Please be respectful of your neighbor’s laundry and take your turn with kindness. Laundry will be closed at 7:00pm on the last high day for Restoring His Way use.

Porta Potties: Porta Potties are for emergency use only! Please use other facilities whenever possible.

Quiet Hours: There is a box of earplugs at Registration if you are in need. Please show love toward your neighbor and enjoy this time of rejoicing.

Rough Camping: You are welcome to set up your tent wherever there is space. Rough campers have no access to water or electric at their tent sites. Please be respectful of common areas when choosing a location.

Rules: please read Rules page.
http://feastofsukkot.org/index.php/rules/

RVs: RV sites are gravel but not all completely level so be prepared to level your rig. All RV sites are full hookup. There is one small bathhouse in the RV area so be prepared to use your own bathrooms. If you do need to use the camp facilities, you are welcome to use the bathrooms in the auditorium or pool house.
Attention: Be aware of your neighbors on either side of you, please take turns when dumping your Sewer. When dumping your Sewer for your RV please flush your gray tank after your black tank.

Tent Camping: Some tent sites have a 12×12 concrete pad. Electric plug-ins and water supply are shared between sites. Bathroom facilities are located in the auditorium and pool house, in addition to port-a-potties throughout the camping areas. Handicapped accessible bathrooms are only in the auditorium and lodge.

Trash: There is one dumpster behind the auditorium and another beside the Lodge.  You are responsible for disposing of your own garbage.

Weather: If severe weather is heading our way our first course of action is to Pray for YHWH’s protection on His people. Tie down your camp. If you feel the need to take shelter go to the pool house or lodge bathrooms. It is your responsibility to decide what is best for your own safety and that of your family. RHW will not be responsible for making those decisions for you or the camp as a whole.
